Every March myself and two high
school classmates do some trout fishing on the White River. We wade fish a little, and
float fish with a boat as well. Even though we enjoy doing our own thing we always set
aside one day each trip to fish with a guide. For the past two years we have fished with
David Capps. David is very personable, and is an excellent guide with vast fishing skills
and knowledge. On our trip this past March I was fortunate enough to catch a beautiful 7lb
rainbow. I was using light action tackle and 4 lb test line. Had it not been for
David's very timely coaching and his expertise in keeping the boat properly positioned, I
would not have landed this trophy.
