Fishing Trips Offered By The Fisherman's Lodge

How To Pick Your Fishing Trip - Take a look at each of the four types of guided fishing trips summarized below. For details and photos of the trip style that interests you click into the photo albums. We also have a section of testimonials given by our long-time repeat customers, and a section for women interested in trout fishing. We fish on both the North Fork River and the White River.

What To Expect On Your Fishing Trip - Over 25 years experience has taught us many things about successful and fun White River trout fishing trips. For example, the Southern Hospitality we give at the lodge we also give during your day fishing on the river. Our guides are polite, considerate, and helpful every moment of the trip. They love to fish, but even more, they love to see other people have a truly great time catching trout. Their level of service, fishing skills, and river safety experience are second to none. And all of it is devoted to you, whether you have never trout fished, or a skilled pro. You will have a great time - guaranteed!

1. Fast Action Trout Fishing Trips - Our Most Popular
white river rainbow The Fast Action trips are what most of our customers enjoy. They catch from 40 to 80 trout per day, which is about 5 to 12 fish per hour. Many of the trout will be rainbows in the one to two pound range, typically about 12 to 16 inches long. Yet it's not unusual to catch trout weighting from 2 to 5 pounds on a Fast Action trip. You can take this trip any time of year, in any water conditions. This is the trip most of our corporate groups take for business outings.

2. Family Trout Fishing Trips

As 8 year old Courtney rubs in a brag to her fishless brother 5 year old C.J., her father had all he could do to take a steady camera shot he was laughing so hard. Quality time? It does not get much better! While you can fish with your family any time of year, most families fish in the summer months.

3. The Big Ones: Trophy Trout Fishing Trips
trophy brown trout Trophy trout fishing in the White River is the ultimate challenge for serious trout fishers. The White has produced many line class world record brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Going for the big ones is a demanding experience because you can go hours without a bite. But when they hit, hold on! You can catch a trophy any time of year, in high water or low, but high water is your best bet.

4. Winter Trout Fishing? Sure! Our Clients Do It All The Time
winter trout fishing A little snow stop a dedicated trout fisher? No way! The fishing is too good! Winter fishing in the Ozarks is much easier than up North. There are no closed seasons. There's no ice to speak of. And most of the time, there's no snow at all, the day temps are well above freezing, and the trout don't know it's not summer. They're as hungry as ever. If you want some of the best fishing time of the year, take a look at our fall and winter trips.

Client Testimonials - We're not the only ones telling big fish stories!
David's wife trophy brown What has kept them coming back to us for so many years? They tell you in their own words. We figured we'd better include this section. After all, we've told enough of our own big fish stories and we don't want to hog the show! It's hard to say who tells bigger stories - us or them. You be the judge!

Women on Fishing Trips - Don't Bet Against Them!
women trout fishers Trout fishing women? Yes! We have many women who fish with us every year. They fish right along with their men, and frequently out-fish them!  We've included this section in our Web site because we know that with a little encouragement, even more women would fish. It's not just a man's sport any more. In fact, it would not surprise us if the next All Tackle World Record brown trout was caught by a woman! If your wife thinks trout fishing is just a guy thing, have her take a look at this section!
