To find Cotter Arkansas on a map find the state of Arkansas, then look at the top central part of Arkansas. Look just below the Missouri/Arkansas state line for two lakes, Bull Shoals Lake, and Norfork Lake. You'll find Cotter just below and between the lakes. No matter where you are coming from you will need to find and travel down U.S. Highway 62/412. Once you locate 62/412, determine which direction you are headed (east or west). Drive for the town of either Cotter or Mountain Home, Arkansas.

If you are driving east on 62/412 cross the White River bridge coming into Cotter. At the top of the hill across from Bayman Beverage, turn left onto Denton Ferry Road, which is also called Baxter County Road #1.

If you are driving West on 62/412 look for the big blue water tower that says "Cotter Arkansas - Trout Capital USA". This tower is on your left. About 1/2 mile down the road look for the 62B turn to the left at Bayman Beverage, but don't turn left onto 62B. Instead turn right onto Denton Ferry Road. If you go down the hill and cross the river, you have gone too far.

After turning onto Denton Ferry road, go 2.8 miles. Look for Brown Lane on your left. See the Fisherman's Lodge sign there and turn left onto Brown Land and you'll see the lodge straight ahead about 300 yards.
