High Water Feeding Frenzy
During unusually high water trout go into an incredible feeding frenzy. As the water washes out shoreline banks that normally do not get wet, large amount of night crawlers, worms, lizards, and other live baits are washed into the river by the ton. It is not unusual for boated fish to throw up large gobs of this live bait they have gorged upon.
